Our story starts in faraway South Africa, where two friends opened a chicken restaurant almost 30 years ago. Soon the whole nation, and then the whole world couldnt get enough PERi-PERi chicken. Spanning 5 countinents, 28 countries with 1,200 restaurants, we've got a lot of fans.

We take red PERi-PERi African Brid's Eye Chillies from Southern Africa and add sub ripened lemon, zesty onion, garlic, fresh herbs and exotic spices to make a sauce like you've never tasted before.
From small beginnings in South Africa, PERi-PERi make is into the hearts of millions of fans all over teh world. We've even become the best selling 'hot sauce' in countries from Britain to Australia and, of course, South Africa. And we technically aren't even a hot sauce.
