In addition to our anniversary gala, I am excited to share our plans to create a children's after-school and summer program that includes specific sessions for inclusive learning for our diverse learners. We believe storytelling is a powerful tool for individuals with special needs, whether they require support in learning, social/emotional development, or behavioral challenges. As a local special education teacher in a low-income, low-resource, high-needs community, we are passionate about making theater, storytelling, and character development accessible to all public school students and transitional students from Kindergarten to age 22.
