10th Anniversary DAV Ride (8/3/2024) . The DAV (Disabled American Veterans Blackhawk chapter #29 - Rockford 501 C4) is once again partnering with the VTC (Veterans Transitional Center- Freeport 501 C3) to enrich the lives of our Disabled Veterans by assisting veterans back into society. Many riders from across the states of Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin join efforts to help raise money to assist our veterans throughout the United States We have a Silent Auction, 50-50 Raffles, Street dance and daytime activities.

Through this event we are able to generate revenue for the DAV/VTC where 100% of proceeds are donated to assist Veterans and their families both financially, educational and healthcare benefits.  We have so many homeless veterans with basic needs and provide Veterans suffering from PTSD & TBI through various methods, therapeutic, driving to appointments and we advocate on behalf of all Veterans with State and Federal Representation for the rights and benefits of all Veterans
