It is our sincere pleasure to announce that the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex will be continuing our tradition of hosting our Annual Beefsteak Dinner & Tricky Tray on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Charlie’s Place, located at Notre Dame Church in North Caldwell, New Jersey. Each year, hundreds of guests attend this sold-out event.

The Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex is entering its 99th year of service to the Caldwell and Western Essex County Community.  Our Club has raised and donated over $500,000 in the past decade.  Examples of our community contributions include awarding ten scholarships to high school seniors each year, sponsoring youth organizations at Caldwell University, James Caldwell High School, West Essex High School, Verona High School, Grover Cleveland Middle School, West Essex Middle School, and multiple elementary schools throughout the area. In 2021, examples of some of the events we hosted include a Bike Safety Event, a Children’s Car Seat Inspection, sponsoring local sports teams, collections for the Caldwell Food Pantry, preparing forty Thanksgiving baskets for families in need, as well as numerous donations to other community organizations and youth programs.

The majority of the prizes for our event will consist of goods or services donated by local businesses. We are respectfully requesting your support through donations, such as gift certificates, merchandise, or services that can be raffled. Monetary donations are also graciously accepted. In return for your generosity, all donations will be recognized in our program, our social media pages, as well as in press releases to local media.
