Description

On Friday, September 22, 2023, Central Texas Charitable Works (CTCW) in cooperation with Knights of Columbus Council 8156 will be hosting our 10th Annual Blue Jeans and Boots Gala Fundraiser. Our Online Silent Auction will run from September 1 - September 24. CTCW is the nonprofit charitable arm of the Knights of Columbus Council 8156 in Austin, TX. Together, this partnership provides financial and volunteer support for many worthy causes. Because of the impact of COVID-19 in our community and the rising prices of groceries and gas, now more than ever our mission to help those in need is of utmost importance. Our Gala will be held at Creekside in Driftwood, TX.

Central Texas Charitable Works is a 501(c)(3) organization and your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law. CTCW strives to promote the dignity of the human person by supporting organizations that provide food, shelter, and services to those in need in our community and surrounding area. With less than 2% in overhead expenses, CTCW assures you that your donation will truly help those in need!

Proceeds from the Gala Fundraiser allow CTCW to continue to support our charitable causes such as:

•      Abiding Love Food Pantry - serves an average of 430 families with approximately 1700 children and adults every month. Serves the homeless and those on a very limited income.
•      Austin Habitat for Humanity – helps individuals achieve strength, stability, and independence through safe, decent, and affordable shelter.
•      Saint Louise House - provides housing, food, and essential services to women with children who are experiencing homelessness.
•      Warrior & Family Support Center - supports wounded, ill, and injured Warriors overcoming difficulties. Programs and services are offered for healing and rehabilitation.
