The Buddy Walk is the main fundraising event for DSAT. Each year, families form teams and raise funds for weeks leading up to the walk, and then come together for a 3km walk at Woodbine beach. This is one of the most anticipated events of the year for the Down syndrome community. It is our main source of funding for our organization, allowing us to support our community with resources and programs. During this event, aside from the walk, we have guest speakers, prizes, games, food, music, and more. This will be the first time our community has been able to come together since the pandemic, with our last two Buddy Walk's being virutal events. We are very excited to have an in-person Buddy Walk this year and want to make it the best one yet.
