The 10th Annual Gala for the Gryphons is a formal gala, our largest fundraiser of the year, and includes a social hour, plated dinner, dessert, silent and live auction, fund-a-need and program, live entertainment, dancing, and games / activities.   

The event will support our new Grow Your Own Program, funding to recruit and sustain teachers of color, mentor our current students into the field of education, and provide licensure for our existing non-degreed staff. The goal is to give up to $50,000 per year in tuition reimbursement and scholarships. In addition, the Gala will continue to fund student scholaship for post-secondary education.

Past galas have supported a Playscape and Grounds project, two gyms, activities field, activity van, a performing arts center, library, much needed equipment such as athletic equipment, team uniforms, weight room, and adaptive playground equipment. As a school of choice, we serve students and families from more than 70 different zip codes and have a diverse student body with 60% students of color.
