Description

The Epstein Community Foundation is a charity devoted to empowering people to improve their
lives through a commitment to developing partnerships with communities. We would like to invite
you to participate in our 10th Annual Epstein Community Foundation Golf Outing on Friday, August
25th. The event will be held at the White Pines Golf Course in Bensenville www.whitepinesgolf.com
starting at 1 pm.

In 2023, ECF is teaming with several wonderful organizations to help people in several different
communities including:
 Rebuilding Together - Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago is a nonprofit that believes in
a safe and healthy home for everyone, and is dedicated to improving the homes and
communities of the elderly, disabled and low-income residents so that they may continue
to live in warmth, safety and independence. We will complete a house renovation in April
for a family in need.
 ACE Mentor Program – ACE’s mission is to inform and excite high school students about
career opportunities in architecture, construction and engineering; encourage students to
pursue secondary education that will prepare them for careers in the integrated
construction industry; and support the development of basic and technical skills through
mentoring relationships. ECF will be awarding $12,500 in scholarships to ACE students
and alumni.
 Humble Design – Humble Design is a nonprofit that serves individuals, families, and
veterans emerging from homelessness by transforming empty houses into welcoming
homes using donated furniture and household goods. ECF will complete a project in
October for a family in need.
 Grants – We are awarding $25,000 in grants to charitable organizations in need of
funding. Last year’s grants were awarded to Chicago Engineers Foundation, Arquitina,
Project SYNCERE, and Science & Entrepreneurship Exchange.

All proceeds from this event will go directly to fund projects supported by the Epstein Community
Foundation. Our team of volunteers will have the chance to donate their time to these projects as
well, so they can understand personally the value of giving back to others within our communities.
The attached flyer has more information on how you can help including both golf and sponsorship
opportunities.
