Description

Provident Behavioral Health’s mission of Building brighter futures through exceptional behavioral health services, especially for those with the greatest need drives everything we do. It is an ironclad pledge to continue serving St. Louisans and we are so grateful for the partnership and generosity of corporations and people like you.

The demand for quality mental health services continues to grow and with it, our creative approaches to providing counseling, psychiatric services, 24/7 crisis services, and Mary Ryder Home residential care have also grown to meet the needs of all people of all ages.

You too can help inspire hope! On Saturday, February 8, 2025, Provident Behavioral Health will host our 10th Annual Spirit of Provident Gala at the Chase Park Plaza. This is our largest fundraising event of the year, with a goal of raising over $515,000. Gifts to this event provide critical funds for behavioral health services for individuals, families, youth, and older adults – our family, friends, and neighbors.

We anticipate 600 guests at the Gala. Our silent and live auctions and wine pull are traditions of our event and are a fun way to raise funds to support our mission. Philanthropic support is essential to sustaining our mission and helps our most pressing needs:

·          Provident offers accessible mental health services in offices, schools, and through teletherapy. We provide services at little to no cost to those who otherwise could not afford to seek help.

·          Provident offers accessible mental health counseling in offices, schools, via telehealth, and through our Access Center. Support groups for grief, survivors of suicide, and clergy help us reach those with specific needs and our TeleHope program offers older adults supportive care over the phone.

·          Provident Crisis Services (PCS) is fortunate to have Crisis Intervention Specialists covering our hotlines every moment of every day. Our role as a 988 Suicide Prevention Lifeline Crisis Center allows us to care for individuals 24/7, assess for suicide, safety plan, connect individuals to resources, and to provide follow up to services to anyone in need.

·          Provident’s Psychiatric Program offers psychiatric evaluation and medication management that is so difficult to access. Provident’s five Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners serve ages 5 and older.

·          Behavioral Health Intervention Specialists support kids, their families, and educators within school campuses. We strive to keep kids mentally healthy.

·          Mary Ryder Home utilizes Intensive Residential Treatment Setting (IRTS), a model that serves and houses low-income older adult women with serious and persistent behavioral health diagnoses.

The work that we do is critically important, and we could not do it without you! Please consider a donation, such as a gift certificate, gift basket of items, or monetary support for our Gala auction. Every dollar raised presents an opportunity to help even more people.
