The 11^th Annual Cinco de Mayo Trail Run will be held on May 6, 2017, at Lake Poway. Highlights include: Professional chip timing; more than $1,500 in cash awards; medals three-deep; an exhibit row; and a free race and virtual swag bag for registered participants. Considered one of the popular runs around, the Cinco de Mayo Trail Run is a family-friendly event, with a course that offers something for every age level and ability. There’s a quad-burning 10K and multiple 5K options, including: a men’s elite heat; women’s elite heat; and a family heat, where participants can walk, jog or hike. There’s also a non-competitive, fun and easy, 1/3-mile Kids Race for children 7 and under. To honor firefighters, law enforcement personnel and members of the military, we offer a 50 percent hero’s discount for active-duty entrants.
