Undoubtedly, 2020 has been a year of adaptation, perseverance, and transformation. The Garage Community & Youth Center is proud to be part of this community for almost two decades and grateful to be able to serve its members during this unprecedented year. 

Tough times didn’t break us, they made us. 

The Garage did not falter in times of uncertainty and our centers remained open to provide services related to COVID-19 and support to our community. Through Virtual Garage programming some of our community’s most vulnerable middle and high school students continue to receive the necessary resources to navigate online learning, find social emotional support, and engage in enrichment activities. Through our weekly supply drive, The Garage provided over 3,000 boxes of food and household necessities to 550 families. Further, 17 high school students participate in our paid summer internships program, Career Compass - providing much needed income while many parents experienced unemployment.

On Saturday, December 5th, The Garage will host our 11th Annual Holiday Auction Virtually. This year will require some additional creativity! The Garage will bring the party to you with an online auction and At-Home Holiday Auction Party Kits. Each kit will include party games, decorations, access to the online auction, and some of Chester County’s finest wine and beer. We are looking forward to sharing the holiday spirit through the comfort and safety of our homes.
