Since 2008, Honor Flight Chicago has recognized nearly 11,000 men and women who have served in our nation's armed forces during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.  We honor our senior war veterans for their service and sacrifice with a one day, life-changing experience in Washington D.C.  Honor Flight Chicago provides this experience for our veterans at no cost to them. We are able to do this through the generous support of our generous donors, dedicated volunteers and through proceeds from our fundraising events which are critical to support our mission.

 Honor Flight Chicago will hold its 11th annual Law Enforcement Hockey Classic, a family friendly event held at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville IL from 4p-9p on Saturday, March 23, 2024. The game pits the Chicago Police Department and the Chicago FBI office hockey teams in a spirited competition. Fundraising activities include a Silent Auction, Raffle Baskets and the ever-popular Chance Wheel. All funds raised at the 2024 Law Enforcement Hockey Classic will go towards honoring our senior war heroes with a special trip to Washington D.C. Our goal for this event is to raise $150,000, enough to fund one flight in our 2024 season.
