Paws for Reflection Ranch, an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been providing animal-assisted activities and therapies in Midlothian, Texas since 2007. We partner our 38+ Ranch therapy animals, from horses to hedgehogs, with professional therapists to heal the human mind, body, and spirit. Annually, we serve over 2,000 clients of all ages and abilities from Ellis County and the surrounding counties of Dallas, Tarrant, and Johnson.

We are seeking Event Sponsors and donations of Auction Items for our 11th Annual Round Up Fundraiser to be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023. All proceeds from this event are utilized for client scholarships and programs, as well as operational expenses to cover ongoing animal care costs. 

Sponsorship packages are further outlined on the attached Sponsorship Opportunities form. Ideas for auction items include, but are not limited to, Merchandise, Gift Cards & Certificates, Tickets for Local Activities, Vacation Opportunities, Hunting/Fishing/Golf Experiences, and Autographed Sports Memorabilia. 

Paws for Reflection Ranch serves a wide variety of clients in the community by providing animal-assisted therapeutic services tailored to each individual’s specific needs, including Equine-Assisted Counseling, Animal-Assisted Counseling, EMDR, Play Therapy, Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Therapeutic Horsemanship, and more. While the need for mental health services in our surrounding areas continues to rise dramatically, the financial support for these types of services has decreased. It is our mission to continue to make our programs and services available to those in need of them, including those that may require financial assistance to participate. This annual fundraising event provides scholarship opportunities to our clients to ensure everyone can have access to our services.

The health and wellbeing of our animals is always a priority, as their partnership in our programs is what makes Paws for Reflection Ranch a unique therapeutic experience for our clients. Our fundraisers, like the Round Up Event, help us supplement the continued increase in animal care costs, including covering the rising costs of hay/feeding and veterinary services. 

Our annual Round Up Event is our primary fundraising event each year, and we encourage you to help us reach our goal of $75,000 in sponsorships, donations, and proceeds from the auction!
