Description

Over the last decade, Fairfax CASA's annual Run for the Children has grown into not only a beloved event for runners and families across Northern Virginia but is also Fairfax CASA's largest fundraiser.  Each year, the race attracts over 500 runners, walkers, and spectators, as well as 250 volunteers, and raises an average of $75,000 to support Fairfax CASA's direct advocacy work with abused and neglected children in our community. The race will once again start and finish at the Fairfax County Courthouse Complex, on April 30,2022.  Your tax deductible, in-kind donation will help us make this year a success!

Fairfax Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to ensuring that our most vulnerable children have a safety net in the child welfare system and do not slip through the cracks. By recruiting, training, and closely supervising citizen volunteers to become the "eyes and ears of the court," Fairfax CASA has been able to provide a voice to nearly 7,000 children within the Fairfax Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court since our founding in 1989.  By partnering with us, you join a community of caring and generous people who prioritize the children of Fairfax County.
