Aloha from the California Surf Museum!

It is time for our 12th Annual Gala Fundraiser honoring this year’s CSM Silver Surfer honorees:
Don Hansen, Lisa Andersen and Tom Curren! We would like to thank you for your previous support and hope you can support us again this year.

We are asking for donations for our Gala Auction to reach our fundraising goals. Please consider donating gift certificates, items, experiences or services that highlight your brand. The auction is the evening’s main fundraising effort and has always delighted our guests.

Donations will be acknowledged in promotions, CSM’s website, the Gala program and promoted
live during the event. We typically host over 300 guests and this is a great opportunity for your organization to be featured in a unique setting. 

The 12th Annual Gala will be held Saturday, October 26, from 4-10pm, at the Cape Rey Hilton,
1 Ponto Road, Carlsbad. This 4-star venue overlooks the Ponto surf break with a spectacular
sunset view.

Since 1986, CSM has been collecting and preserving the surfing history and artifacts of this popular lifestyle sport and culture as well as producing fascinating exhibits and dynamic educational programs. The funds generated from the Gala help the museum continue these efforts.

The California Surf Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Tax ID #33-0215579, relying primarily on funding from memberships and donations. The Annual Gala Fundraiser is our principal funding event which we hope you will consider supporting to ensure this year’s Gala is a success.
