Ribfest is a fun family event that happens every year to raise funds for the Blooming Prairie Youth Club. We invite 15 cooks to prepare ribs for a taste testing competition. During the event, we also have games for kids to participate in, lots of food, live band entertainment, raffles, silent and live auction, and so much more. Funds raised during this event go directly to the BP Youth Club to help with building improvements, purchasing equipment or programming materials, field trip costs, keep our rates affordable to our families, and so much more. We raised enough money the last two years to finally get a new playground at our center (happening now) and a new roof on our building (before summer). This year, we have a goal of raising $40,000 to help with more improvements and equipment costs.
