Description

Schindler Family Foundation

We have two missions. Our first mission is to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications through the support of research. Every dollar we are able to direct toward this critical research comes from donors like you.

Our second mission is in memory of Dan Schindler, who passed away in 2021 from ALS. We want to support other families who have been impacted by this devastating disease.

Your generosity makes real progress possible and propels us toward our goal of a world without T1D and ALS.

--------

Zach Schindler was diagnosed when he was just two years old with type 1 diabetes. We can't even count the number of finger pricks he has done or shots he has gotten in the past 27 years. We do remember all too well the trips to the hospital because of lows and highs. He doesn't let T1D stop him from anything, but we know it wears on his organs. So, we are determined to help him and the millions living with T1D find a cure. Would you like to help us too?

In memory of Dan Schindler, triathlon founder who lost his life to ALS in 2021, we will also be donating to families that are currently battling this awful disease. ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease is a rare disease that attacks nerve cells that weaken their ability to move their arms, legs, and body and takes away the ability to breathe on their own.
