This year's event looks a little different. In response to COVID-19 and

much of the world operating virtually, the Austin Hatcher Foundation

for Pediatric Cancer is moving its 13th annual Celebration of Life &

Hope from a physical event to an interactive virtual experience.

Join the foundation virtually on October 10 for a live program with testimonials from

families the foundation serves, a tour of the new Education Advancement Center, silent

and live auctions with amazing items not available anywhere else, and the opportunity

to spend the evening in whatever attire you choose, whether that’s in a tux and little

black dress or pajamas and slippers!

Even as the world slowly returns to a new normal after the pandemic, families facing

pediatric cancer will continue to face the stress of dealing with two major health crises

at one time. Children on treatment or in recovery live with compromised immune

systems, leaving them vulnerable to the virus, even as the spread slows down. The

services the foundation provides are critical to ensure these families and children are

able to cope and thrive, both now and in the future.
