Description

Lifting the Silence is Community Brain Injury Services' signature annual fundraising event. 2023 is the 13th year for this event, where over 150 area professionals, community partners and civic leaders will gather on May 6th at the Virgnia Museum of History & Culture to raise funds for the over 400 survivors of brain injury that we serve annually. It will be an elegant evening with food and drinks, silent and live auctions, entertainment and exciting games. Community support is imperative to the success of CBIS' mission of empowering brain injury survivors to regain and maintain their independence and achieve fulfillment as productive members of their community. The funding received from Lifting the Silence ensures CBIS can continue to provide quality, life-changing services to brain injury survivors in the Metro Richmond and Virginia Peninsula areas. Lifting the Silence also provides the opportunity for CBIS to continue to increase awarensess of traumatic brain injury and the thousands of Virginians it affects.
