13th Annual Nik's Home Run | Saturday, October 12th at the Rockford Rivets Stadium

It’s hard to believe that just 13 years ago we had our very first event, Nik’s Home Run. In that 2012 event, we raised enough money to fund 5 wishes. It was the beginning of a journey inspired by Nik’s dying wish to help young adults ages 18-24 (who missed out on Make-A-Wish) to have a wish. Here we are in 2024 approaching the 13th Annual Nik’s Home Run with over 345 wishes delivered. Although we have made strides to fill the gap, cancer’s attack on young adults seems to be growing. In 2024, over 2 million people will be diagnosed with cancer. Our theme this year, “Live between the Seconds,” has great significance when you consider that a normal life will stop every 15 seconds when the devastating words, “YOU HAVE CANCER,” are heard! With over 22 wishes waiting for funding, we’ve been forced to temporarily close our application process until funding can be secured. We know that a wish delivers HOPE to cancer families and provides precious moments of JOY! Will you help us reopen our application process to BRING HOPE & JOY to families fighting cancer?
