On Saturday, August 28, 2021, CAMP is excited to host the 13th Annual Starry Night CAMP Gala. The event will be hosted online and the theme is "See me. Hear me. Know me.", featuring inspirational stories from our campers and their families, sharing their achievements with our community. We are also excited to have Chris Nikic and Dr. John Melville as our special guests. Chris is the first athlete with Down syndrome to complete an Ironman race, and Dr. Melville was diagnosed with cerebral palsy as a child and will recount a series of moments on his journey from a child to his present position as an associate professor, chief of Child Abuse Pediatrics, and one of CAMP’s “Top Docs”.

The event will be hosted on our event website gala.campcamp.org and on CAMP's Facebook page. Included is an auction featuring local businesses and organizations. We would love to include four admission passes to the San Antonio Botanical Gardens to feature in the auction. Together we can reach our goal of raising over $250,000 to ensure every camper gets to participate in CAMP’s year-round programming...regardless of their disability, and every parent gets a rest...regardless of their family income.
