14th ANNUAL CODY WATERS OFF-ROAD POKER RUN SATURDAY MARCH 26, 2022 DONATION REQUEST

Hello, I would like to introduce you to “The Cody Waters Foundation”. We are a small, Registered Non-Profit, which raises money for children with cancer and other terminal illnesses. The foundation was started in 2009, in memory of my son Cody Waters, who died at the age of 9 from Brain Cancer. Our yearly fundraiser is an Off-Road Poker Run, Lunch and Raffle, which we hold in California City, in the Mohave Desert. The money we raise is used to buy toys, games, iPads, and other items which we then provide to various children throughout the year.

In addition, we also donate items and host family fun days at local hospitals such as CHOC, CHLA and Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach and we make monetary donations to various organizations such as Make-A- Wish, Comfort Zone Camp, Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, and The American Cancer Society. We are asking for your support, so we can continue raising funds for the many kids and their families out there, battling childhood cancer. We appreciate any donation you can make, to help us reach our goal of raising $35,000 this year and all donations are tax deductible.
