Maryland Therapeutic Riding will be hosting our 14th Annual Derby Day fundraising event at our farm in Crownsville, Maryland on Saturday, May 6th in conjunction with the Kentucky Derby! This event is our largest fundraising event of the year with expectation of 400 guests. The evening will include a seated dinner, drinks, silent and live auctions, bourbon tasting, hat contest and a live showing of the Kentucky Derby! We are looking for event sponsors/underwriters/advertisers as well as in-kind donations for us to use in our live and/or silent auctions.

Maryland Therapeutic Riding's mission is to improve the quality of life of children, adults, active military and veterans with special needs by connecting humans and horses in a healing environment. Our services include adaptive riding, equine-assisted physical/speech/occupational therapy, equine-assisted psychotherapy and numerous other opportunities for healing and growth within the community that we serve.

MTR is a PATH Intl Premier Accredited Center as well as a Maryland Horse Discovery Center. We hold an Equus Guardian Designation and are a chapter of Move United. We are also proud to have consistently earned a Platinum Transparency Seal from Candid.
