As a representative of the Event Committee of FD NOW, a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, I am writing to request your help with a tax-deductible donation. Any consideration that you can give us will be greatly appreciated.

FD NOW is a 100% volunteer organization of families dedicated to finding a cure for Familial Dysautonomia (FD), a life-threatening genetic disorder that affects the sensory and autonomic nervous system.  Those with FD suffer from a myriad of symptoms including feeding difficulties, poor weight gain, recurrent dizziness and fainting, developmental delays, severe impaired vision and crises - violent vomiting, skyrocketing blood pressure and heart rate.  Most individuals with FD die of heart, lung and kidney failure.

Fewer than 50% reach their 30th birthday.

 
FD NOW's goal is to raise funds to support research that will drive better treatments and cures for patients with FD right now.  All funds raised go directly to research.

From March 5th through March 15th, 2021 FD NOW will be hosting a “Virtual Event”.  This event will feature an on-line silent auction.  We expect to have over 1,000 people “log on” to this event. The FD NOW On-Line Auction is a tremendous marketing opportunity for you, offering significant exposure and publicity.  In addition, your gift is tax-deductible.
