On Thursday, April 27, 2017, Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement, Inc. (HCCI) will host the 14th Annual "Let Us Break Bread Together" Awards Gala and Dinner at the prestigious Marina del Rey in Throgs Neck, New York.  This festive affair will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner and the awards program at 7:00 PM.  The event celebrates the linkages we have created and HCCI's role in the holistic revitalization of Harlem.  The Awars Ceremony is an opportunity for HCCI to honor individuals who have made substantial contributions to the Harlem community.

Our distinguished honorees include Honorable Inez E. Dickens, NYS 70th Assembly District, with the CFBW Community Service Award; Honorable Patricia A. Williams, former Supreme Court Justice with the Distinguished Leadership Award; Ms. Barbara Askins, President, 125th Street Business Improvement District (BID) with the Trailblazer Award; Ms. Leah Abraham, President and Founder of Settepani with the Business Leadership Award; and Mr. Paraq R. Mehta, RA, AIA, LEED, AP, Principal, PM Architecture with the Community Buider Award.  Ms. Mara Schiavocampo, ABC News Correspondent will be the Mistress of Ceremonies.  The gala will mark HCCI's 31st year of providing services to the hsitoric Harlem community.
