Ladies / Gentlemen:

         We are the Lung Transplant Support Organization and we are contacting you looking for donations for our 14th annual “Breath of Hope” charity golf tournament. The tournament is scheduled for Saturday May 20, 2023, at the beautiful Legacy Golf Resort, in Phoenix. It typically draws 140-150 golfers and 20 – 30 spectators.

         We are a 501.c.3 charity that was created by a group of lung transplant patients and their caregivers; who decided to give back to those who needed it. Our group is all volunteer and has been so since we formed in 2008. We are based in Phoenix and help lung transplant patients that come from around the country to receive a lung transplant here. We provide monetary assistance directly to the individuals who need it in order to obtain a lung transplant.

Our mission is to support lung transplant patients, patient caregivers, and the medical professionals who care for them. We inform and educate patients on resources available beyond their personal medical insurance coverage including but not limited to housing, medical and financial assistance.

Our goal is to provide new patients with a community of fellow transplant recipients who understand their journey and can assist by sharing and encouraging in a positive and supportive manner.

Our objectives include: Partner with the transplant medical community to enhance patient wellness Educate and inform the public about lung transplant and donor awareness Help to provide patient critical care equipment Provide housing, medical and financial assistance and resources

         We are looking for sponsorships, donations of gifts in kind or auction items and we still have spots available for players. We are hoping you will provide us with gift certificates / gift cards, or product; hole or other tournament sponsorships, or even items for our goodie bags.
