Description

We’re happy to announce that Inland Valley Recovery Services’ (IVRS) 15th Annual Chili Cook-off fundraiser will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 in the courtyard of Upland City Hall. Our popular event will again be sponsored by the Landecena Family Foundation and the Miller Family Trust.

Proceeds from the Chili Cook-Off are used to enhance IVRS’s wide range of treatment services.  This year’s special focus will be on adolescents and expanding the services provided to them. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), about two thirds of high school seniors have tried alcohol, half have used marijuana, and two in ten have used prescription drugs without a prescription. The need for adolescent services is high in the Inland Empire, and it is currently not being met. Enhancements may include prevention services in schools, purchasing and expanding curricula, residential services for adolescents, and transportation. Our fundraising goal for this year’s event is $100,000.

Since our first Chili Cook-Off in 2006 our sponsors and guests have generously donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to help IVRS enhance and expand its services. It is because of those contributions that we will continue to be a premier agency serving the West End, Central Valleys of San Bernardino and Riverside County. We encourage you to visit our website at www.inlandvalleyrecovery.org and to follow us on social media to learn more.

We invite you to partner with us by sponsoring the event, donating items for auction, or helping in other ways listed on the attached brochure.  All donations are tax deductible.  Thank you in advance for your generous support.
