Description

The CJR Memorial Foundation is a 501c3 that was started in loving memory of my son Caleb Regenski, who passed away very suddenly from an aggressive brain cancer at age two.  The CJR Memorial Foundation grants wishes for children in Northest PA through the Make A Wish Foundation, we sponsor a room at the ROnald McDonald House and financially assist families with critically ill chilren.  By covering mortgage and utility payments, parents are not forced to choose between work an  We certainly stretch every penny we raise!

The golf outing is our largest fundraising event each year.  On May 6th, we will host over 160 golfers and 250+ for cocktails and dinner afterward.  There will be an awesome gift basket raffle which is always an amazing success and will help us achieve most of our fundriaising goals for the year!  Your donation will go towards this exciting raffle and we very truly appreciate your support.

2024 will mark our eighth year partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Since 2016, the CJR Memorial Foundation has contributed $43,000 to the Make-A-Wish chapter of NEPA in support of 10 wishes!  These  magical moments have included a bedroom makeover, trips to Walt Disney World, and even a tropical adventure in Hawaii.  We will continue to support this extra special organization so more local children can see their wishes come true.

Over the last two years the CJR Memorial Foundation partnered up with the local Ronald McDonald House of Scranton’s “Merry & Bright Family Night”– an evening on the Stourbridge Line! The night train ride was centered around the Wonder of Christmas and family togetherness. For the past 6 years alone, the RMH of Scranton has served over 100 families from Wayne and Pike counties while their children have received treatment.

2023 marked a first for the CJR Memorial Foundation... the inaugural Helicopter Ball Drop!  It was a huge success, selling all 200 golf balls for a total of $20,000 with one lucky winner taking home the grand prize of $10,000 while the remaining $10,000 went to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund.  The CCRF’s goal is to help researchers develop safer, more effective treatment options for cancers where survival rates remain low or haven’t improved in decades.
