I am contacting you in regard to your possible donation for our Annual Roland Chabot Fishing Derby. This year we are happy to announce we are once again joining forces with the Androscoggin Valley Fish & Game Association.  Together we hope to make this year’s event the biggest and best with a day filled with fun, food and of course fishing!

This event is FREE of charge for anyone 5 - 12 years of age. The Fishing Derby will be held on June 1, 2019 from 8:30am - 12:00pm at the Libby Recreation Complex.  It is our hope that every child attending the Fishing Derby will walk away with their limit of fish, a great prize and memories of a great day!  

We would accept any item or monies you could donate to the Recreation Department in support of this event. Some items we are hoping to have as prizes are: fishing items (poles, reels, tackle box), sporting items (balls, games, equipment), clothing (t-shirts, shorts, sweatshirts) and we are hoping to give away two bikes (one girl and one boy) per age group. 

All persons or companies who donate to the Recreation Department for this event will be recognized in a newspaper article that will be placed in both the Berlin Daily Sun and Berlin Reporter, the town website, our Facebook page as well as recognized at the Fishing Derby.
