Free family event with 100 free kites given away, games, candy drop, hula hoop contests, glider workshop, prize wheel and raffle all to benefit hearing impaired children in central Texas.  We work with Dr. Carrie Drew at Baylor Speech and Hearing Clinic to provide hearing aids to children whose parents cannot afford them and hearing screening audiometers and otoscopes to Region 12 nurses.  We also give scholarships to hearing impaired teens entering college and teens entering the hearing and speech field of intterpreting field.  All proceeds from this event remain in central Texas to help these children.  Last year alone, we donated hearing aids, equipment, and scholarships totaling over $18,000.
