Granada Hills Charter High School PTSAs mission is to positively impact the lives of children, families and communities. At Granada Hills PTSA, we are seeking donations for our 16th annual Highlander Tea silent auction or raffle scheduled for February 8, 2025. Your contribution will allow us to improve safety and to support vital programs.
The PTSA hosts annual safe teen driver program - the Teen Impact Program, developed by the California Highway Patrol. The PTSA also conducts an annual arts program, Reflections, which encourages students to express themselves through musical composition, photography, visual arts, literature, film production and dance choreography. We also fund the K-9 program. Drug, explosive and weapon sniffing dogs periodically tour the campus to help keep the school community drug free and safe.
Highlander Tea mimics English afternoon tea. People pay for a ticket to sit at a decorated themed table. Decorations and tableware is donated by the person hosting the table. Food and tea is supplied by the PTSA. Tables and chairs are supplied by the school. Entertainment consists of silent auction, raffle and performances from the schools talented teams, clubs or electives depending on availability. Previous years performances consisted of choir, xylophone, acapella, theatre, quartet and K-9. Corporations if interested in hosting a table contact ghchshighlandertea@gmail.com.
