After 2 years, the tournament is back. All proceeds from the 16th Annual Houston Firefighters' Charity Golf Classic go to benefit the Houston Firefighters Protection Fund (HFPF). TheHFPF was created in 2006 to provide financial aid to help firefighters and their families cover emergency medical costs associated with an extended hospital stay. Since it's inception, the HFPF has provided tens of thousands of dollars to members of HFD and has also included support for emergency home damage due to fire or other disaster and long-term medical rehabilitation. This tournament and other private donations are the only source of revenue for the HFPF...no taxes from the City are used and their is no budget line in HFD's budget to help with this. Covid hit HFD hard and the HFPF dispensed more aid than ever before.

This is a great event at a great course.May 16th is the date. It is a 4-player scramble with a shotgun start at 9:00am.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided along with cool goodie bags, snacks and beverages throughout the day. There will be raffle prizes and an amazing silent and live auction. Great day of golf and fun.
