The CIF Southern Section, which is the governing body for high school athletics in California. We govern 560 schools and more than 700,000 student-athletes from Yosemite to San Clemente. One of our programs is called Champions for Character where we recognize schools, student-athletes, coaches, administrators and officials that represent the very best in academics, sportsmanship, community involvement and character. We honor these schools and individuals with an awards dinner in October where their achievements are highlighted. We use the proceeds raised by this golf tournament to fund that dinner as well as scholarships for the deserving student-athletes.  The golf tournament is June 20, 2022 and is held at Alta Vista Country Club in Placentia. Any contribution you could provide would be used as one of the prizes for the entered golfers. Our tournament usually attracts anywhere from 130 to 150 golfers.
