Exciting plans are well underway for the 16th Annual “Night of a Thousand Stars” Gala hosted by
Schenectady Community Home Inc. aka the Joan Nicole Prince Home. This year’s event will take place
virtually on November 6th, 2021 at 6 PM. This star-filled evening will include testimonies from family
members, volunteers, acknowledgments, music, & more!

· Provides 24/7 care for terminally ill patients in a home environment at no cost
· Trained volunteers are available to support patients who lack adequate end of life care in the community,
to ensure they are not alone in a time of great need
· Offers innovative educational programs in collaboration with numerous well-respected area colleges and
schools, focusing on hands-on palliative care services
· Meets the special needs of patients, supporting their wishes and providing dignity at end-of-life
