Downey Side… Families for Youth will be holding its 17th Anniversary Gala on Thursday, June 25, 2020.  This year we will celebrate 53 years as a successful adoption agency founded by the Rev. Paul Engel, in 1967 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

We would like to thank you in advance for your support over the past few years.   As most of you know Downey Side is devoted to finding families for children who are without parents and living within a foster care system. The agency has grown into an adoption organization that has found loving families for over 8,000 “waiting children”.  Downey Side is dedicated to the conviction that every child has a right, a desire and a need for a permanent family.
