Hello,

My name is Stephanie Lane and I am the Child and Family Therapist at the Children’s Advocacy Center of East Central Missouri (CACECM) in Festus, Missouri. At the CAC we serve children who have been impacted by child abuse and neglect. We provide forensic interviews, advocacy services, and trauma-focused therapy to children and their non-offending caregivers, all at no cost to the family. Our highly trained staff also coordinates multidisciplinary teams of law enforcement and Children’s Division to help support the investigation process as we seek justice for the survivors that we serve. We also provide trainings and community awareness to those we serve about child abuse and neglect.

The CAC is primarily funded by the Victims of Crime Act, but a large percentage of our budget must be covered by fundraisers. We host a number of fundraisers throughout the year to enable us to continue to provide these necessary services at no cost to the families. This year we are hosting a golf tournament at Crystal Highland Golf Course on August 12th, 2021.
