My name is Laura Stephens, and I am the Fundraising Coordinator at Reach Out Community Center, a 501c3 nonprofit organization in the South Lawndale neighborhood. Reach Out Community Center is dedicated to offering free after school programs to youth aged 7-17 so that they may explore a diverse range of activities (arts, dance, STEM activities, gardening, cooking, etc.) and reach their full potential. We have been operational since our first summer program in 2015 and have continued programs throughout the spring, summer and fall for the local youth. Though we are operational, we are without a space as our building is in desperate need of renovation. We have been fortunate to be able to use community rooms at the local library and police department to host our programs.

We are currently seeking in-kind donations for our 17th annual fundraiser which will be hosted on October 17, 2025 at Cine City Studios in Chicago, IL. We would greatly appreciate any donations from your company to use as raffle or silent auction items. All proceeds from the events will go towards the construction of the much needed community center. All donations receive free advertising at the event and online and are tax-deductible.
