Free family event with 100 free kites given away to children, food, games, face painting, candy drops, hula hoop contests, raffle, prize wheel, etc.  We work with Dr. Drew at Baylor Audiology Clinic to provide 10-15 hearing aids to children who cannot afford them at a cost of $600-1,500 each fitting, along with hearing screening audiometers to Region 12 nurses and otoscopes.  We have provided over 95 audiometers at a cost of $1,100 each,  along with scholarships to hearing impaired seniors entering college or seniors entering the hearing and speech field or interpreting field.  All net proceeds remain here in central Texas to help these children.  It is only because of organizations such as this that we are able to continue our programs.
