In May 2022, we will be holding our seventeenth annual spring raffle! We will be selling raffle tickets through our mailing list as well as outreach by our volunteers. We expect to reach a minimum of 5,000 people with our multifaceted raffle ticket selling outreach and raise 15% of our annual budget.

Born from my desire to share knowledge acquired while undergoing treatment for breast cancer, Chemo Comfort provides kits to cancer patients with products that I found useful while undergoing chemotherapy. These products help patients manage nausea, mouth sores and hair loss, among other things. There is also literature enclosed with hints from me of ways to cope with various aspects of this experience.
 
Approximately 80% of Chemo Comfort kits distributed annually are donated through partner cancer organizations. We also make subsidized kits available to cancer patients nationwide for a minimal donation and there is a gift kit program, which helps sustain our other programs.

Donors are acknowledged on our website, in correspondence to our supporters, on social media and some are featured on our raffle tickets.
