It is that time of year again! St. Vincent de Paul is thrilled to be hosting our 18th Annual Golf Outing at Huntington Country Club, on Monday, May 16th. The event will be honoring Greg Demetriou, CEO of Lorraine Gregory Corporation and Joseph McCarthy, Lifelong Vincentian. We are so excited for this special event, and we look forward to sharing it with so many of our great friends and supporters.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Long Island was founded in 1948. Our mission is to “build a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.” St. Vincent de Paul’s purpose is to end suffering caused by poverty.  In 2020, we provided 114,000 people with financial and material assistance.

In order to make this event as successful and enjoyable as possible, St. Vincent de Paul hopes to secure exciting raffle prizes for our dedicated contributors. We would be thrilled if you would consider donating an item or service towards this fundraiser. Some of the raffle items we received in the past are restaurant gift cards, theater tickets, Broadway shows, vacations, salon gift cards, spa treatments, wine tastings, appliances, experiences and much more. Your participation will be noted in our raffle catalog, and you will receive a letter acknowledging and thanking you for your contribution.

Last year’s 17th Annual Golf Classic was an enormous success, raising more than $80,000. Through this fundraiser, and with the help of our dedicated contributors, hundreds of thousands of struggling Long Islanders received the support that they desperately need.
