Suncom Industries is excited to announce the 20th Annual Dirk Sojka’s “Slam Dunk” with Bison Basketball Fundraiser on Saturday, January 18, 2024!  Once again, we are in partnership with Bucknell University Athletics and WQKX 94.1 FM. Our corporate sponsors have been Weis Markets and the Geisinger Health System for the past 20 years, with additional funding from the Degenstein Foundation. Everyone is looking forward to this fantastic event!

Suncom has provided services to people with developmental disabilities for over 58 years.  Our various programs help people reach their potential, along with experiencing the joy and sense of belonging that comes with being a contributing member of their community.

The “Slam Dunk” helps us to:

     upgrade our facilities and equipment.

     enhance our programming.

     continue to serve and meet the specialized needs of our individuals.

Thanks to our donors, the silent auction portion of this event has experienced remarkable success. It will be held during the Bucknell men’s basketball game in the Sojka Pavilion.  The key to our success has been in offering a variety of items for bidding.  We are respectfully requesting a donation of a gift certificate(s), item(s), or whatever you feel you can give.  Your generous donation would be greatly appreciated and viewed by hundreds of potential bidders at the game alone!  Your contribution will be listed in Suncom’s “Game Day Program” as well as recognized in the widely circulated Suncom newsletter and social media.  Suncom is a 501(c)(3) corporation; any gift or donation may be tax deductible.
