I’m excited to share that 1HOPE will be hosting its first inaugural fundraising dinner on Saturday, November 20th at 5PM at Upper East in Downtown Kenosha. This is a huge moment for our organization as we celebrate our third anniversary.
 
1HOPE is a local, Kenosha-based, nonprofit organization that was created with the vision to unite the Churches of Kenosha to help meet some our City’s deepest felt needs. We celebrate in all that we've been able to accomplish over these past three years and trust that our best days are still ahead. We’ve seen over 32 foster families and 132 foster children served on an ongoing basis to help meet their everyday needs and lighten their loads as they open their hearts and homes to the most vulnerable children in our city, we’ve seen business owners in the Uptown whose businesses were destroyed by the civil unrest restore that which had been lost with assistance through our 1HOPE Uptown Recovery Fund, we’ve seen the walls that divide crumble as we love on our neighbors of all backgrounds, races, and socioeconomic status.
 
We have a big vision for Kenosha and to bring this vision to life, it will take faithful, passionate supporters and advocates who want to be part of something bigger than any one of ourselves to see hope restored and lives transformed in Kenosha.

The goal of this event is to raise funds for our nonprofit organization through donations, sponsorships, and in-kind donations for our silent auction. These funds will allow our organization to grow and expand so that we can help meet the needs in a critical time for our community as we continue to see an increase of foster children entering the system and a profound opportunity to invest in the lives of our neighbors in Uptown. 

We are reaching out in regards to our silent auction portion for in-kind donation support. We will have items that guests can bid on for "experiences" that will be gifted to bless foster families in our prorgram. (i.e. season tickets, membership, etc.)

 The schedule for our evening is:

5:00PM - Doors Open / Guest Arrival

5:00PM - 6:00PM - Social Hour and Hors d'oeuvres

6:00PM - 6:15PM - Program Welcome

6:15PM - Dinner Served

7:30PM - 8:30PM - Program Presentations

8:30PM - 9:00PM - Closing Remarks

There is no cost to attend. An invitation will be made to give financially to 1HOPE at the event.
