The Salvation Army of Anderson will be hosting a silent auction / craft show on October 28th at The Boys & Girls Club to help raise money to fund our homeless shelter, disaster relief program, assist individuals with rent & utility payments, help the addicted population get into rehab programs, and offer toys to children in need at Christmas time through the Angel Tree Program.
The Salvation Army of Anderson, SC has the only homeless shelter in the county, and the homeless population is rising. Most of these individuals have mental illness, a family crisis or addiction problems.
In 2022, we provided 17,807 meals, 12,758 nights of shelter, $44,127 in direct assistance to individuals and distributed 9,185 toys for the holiday season.
