The Tender, Inc. is a small, community based non-profit in Mount Laurel, NJ.  We are an Adult Day Center & Caregiver Supoort Services for those individuals living with Alzheimer's, dementia and other cognitive impairments, as well as support for their caregivers in order to keep their loved one home with the familiy for as long as possible.

Six million Americans live with Alzheimers today.  11 million Americans provide unpaid care for people with Alzheimers.  Every 65 seconds someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's.  The cost of home care and skilled nursing facilities can be unafforable to most and these caregiver's need some respite as well as time to do things for themselves that can be difficult while caring for their loved one. 

The Tender offers much needed stimulation to the client and relief from isolation which can lead to depression and anxiety in these individuals.  Activities throughout the day may include chair massage, musical entertainment, yoga & meditation, crafts, puzzles, bingo, jewelry making and many other joyful activities.  Refreshments, snacks and lunch served daily.
