This year marks the 166th annual Parish Festival for St. John the Baptist Church. The event dates are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 22-24th, 2018.  

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church is an active member of Harrison, OH and the surrounding areas.  Our Catholic community includes both parish and school facilities (Pre-school through 8th grade). Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we help others financially, spiritually and academically through numerous programs and outreach efforts throughout Greater Cincinnati (Mary Magdalene House, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Reach Out Pregnancy Center, to name just a few), and in our sister parishes in Jackson, KY and El Salvador. Our parish and school together offer a range of programs geared towards educating both youth and adults in faith development, academic excellence for our youth, cultural and artistic expression (music, drama, art) and quality athletic programs, while building a sense of responsibility and community. Our festival has grown to become one of the most highly attended events in Harrison, Ohio.  Additionally we are one of the most vibrant festivals in the Greater Cincinnati area. Our festival provides great live entertainment and attractions for everyone, while serving as a key fundraising effort for our Parish. We are a registered 501c3 organization (ID #31-6006256).

One of the biggest fundraisers in our festival is our Bid and Buy Auction. This is a silent auction of all types of goods and services.  Previous items have included: Theme Park tickets, Bengals & Reds tickets, Collegiate Tickets, All Star Game Tickets, business services, equipment, sporting goods, toys, artwork, gift certificates, home & garden equipment, and much more. Donor names are listed on the parish website and Facebook page as well as in the auction booklet which can be found online, throughout the festival grounds and at select area businesses before and during the event.

Other booths and activities include live bands each day, Jaguar Jungle (kids' games), beer garden, Poker booth, various foods, Big Six, Split the Putt, and much more!
