Dear Friend,

The Long Island State Park Police Benevolent Association is once again hosting our annual golf outing at the Bethpage State Park “Green Course” on Wednesday, September 19^th, 2018. Attached to this letter you will find our golf outing announcement letter and registration form. Our annual golf outing brings together members from a large number of police and EMS agencies, as well as members of the local community. We are reaching out to as many people as possible to sign to participate in order to help us make this year’s golf outing our most successful yet!

Even if you are unable to join us for a day of golf, we ask that you please consider assisting our cause by helping to sponsor our golf outing or donating an item or service that could be utilized as a raffle prize in our Chinese Auction. As a non-for-profit organization we are always seeking ways to help defray the cost of our golf outing so that we may provide the maximum amount of financial support possible to our local community and charities using money raised at our golf outing. Just some of the charities and causes we support are:

- SamKids Carnival (formally “SamariKids”) Good Samaritan Hospital Pediatrics Center Program

- Orient Beach State Park Annual Spring Egg Hunt

- Eastport Tuttle Avenue School “Tuttle Avenue Fun Run”

- Long Island Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics

- The American Heart Association “Jump Rope For Heart Challenge”
