2019 Legacy Dinner
Gala/Party for St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph CountyMay 02, 2019 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM
The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph County (SVDP) is a nonprofit organization that engages people to join together to provide for the emergency needs of those experiencing poverty and to empower those we serve to attain self-sufficiency.
Through the SVDP Program Center on Crescent Avenue, we provide help through the following programs: Client Choice Food Pantry, Financial Assistance, Material Giveaway, Sweet Dreams Ministry, Bridges Out of Poverty “Getting Ahead” and Financial Foundations. In all that we do, our mission is to serve those in need.
Last year, the St. Vincent de Paul Society provided 62,141 men, women, and children with food, clothing, furniture, financial assistance, and educational resources. These resources, valued in excess of $2.1 million dollars, were made possible by our community’s gifts of time, talent, and treasure, generously shared to help those in need.
Each year, we hold our annual Legacy Dinner fundraiser to raise support for our programs. More than 300 guests are expected to attend this year’s event, which will be held on Thursday, May 2nd at the Gillespie Conference Center in South Bend, Indiana. All proceeds will be used to serve the poor in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
