On Friday, May 3, 2019, Family and Community Resources, Inc. (FCR) will be "off to the races" to end domestic violence as we host our annual fundraiser with a Kentucky Derby-themed Casino Night!  It will be a fun-filled evening with inspirational moments to warm hearts, along with an engaging presentation highlighting the work of FCR through the eyes of the people we serve, as well as, the recognition of the 2019 Wayne McAllister Community Service Awardee.

For 50 years, FCR has been providing high quality, life-affirming services to children, adults and families throughout Southeastern Massachusetts who have experienced trauma and loss as a result of family and community violence. Through the efforts of caring staff, we have been able to help guide women, children, and families from the depths of hurt and despair to hope and brighter futures.  However, we know that our success is only possible because of friends like you.

Last year, with generous donations from sponsors, business and individuals, we raised over $60,000 that helped us provide counseling and safety planning for over 350 victims of domestic violence.  This year we are hoping to raise even more to support critical advocacy, counseling and crisis services.  Our goal is $75,000.  Will you help us reach our goal? Donations from businesses like yours entices our attendees to bid higher on our silent auction and raffle items, giving us the resources to help so many.
