The library staff at the Summit Free Public Library are currently hard at work planning our annual Summer Reading Program, which encourages everyone to read for pleasure. We offer Summer Reading programs to patrons of all ages – from birth to adult! To make this year’s program a success, we need your help!

This year’s Summer Reading program theme is “A Universe of Stories” and will “launch” on Saturday, June 8^th. Community members will register to take part in the library’s offering of reading challenges, events, and raffles. Throughout the summer, participants can earn small prizes and entries for grand prizes (to be distributed at the culmination of the program.) In addition to prizes, the library will offer special events throughout the summer for every age. However, as a result of our limited budget, we are unable to offer all of this without the generosity of our community merchants. This is why the library needs your help.

Summit Free Public Library asks for a donation from your business, such as a gift card or other merchandise, to offer as a grand prize incentive for participating in our Summer Reading program. Remember, your contribution will serve as more than just a donation – it is also a link to community. As a supporter of this year’s Summer Reading program, the library will happily include your company’s name with our promotional materials. Your support will go further than allowing us to offer a successful Summer Reading program – your generosity will promote your business to the community.
