2019 The Conference That Counts
Meeting/Networking for Association of Government Accountants/The Conference That CountsMar 11, 2019 7:30 AM to Mar 13, 2019 4:30 PM
The Conference That Counts is an annual training conference for Internal Auditors (IIA), Government Accountants, and IT Governance professionals.
The conference will take place in March 2019, at the Red Lion Hotel Albany. Traditionally, the conference trains between 500 and 600 professionals in state, government and privately owned organizations throughout New York and surrounding states.
The 24th year conference is themed Passport to Learning. During the conference, items are raffled off with the proceeds from the raffle donated to a local charity. This year the Committee has named the Wildwood Programs (https://www.wildwood.edu/) as the recipient of the charity raffle. Wildwood Programs empowers and enables children and adults with neurologically-based learning disabilities, autism, and other developmental disorders to lead independent, productive and fulfilling lives. Wildwood Programs envisions a world that embraces a fundamental respect for ALL people, their strengths, their uniqueness, their creativity and the infinite diversity that we each represent.
The Committee is seeking raffle prizes to be awarded on the last day of the conference. Such previously donated items include gift certificates, movie tickets, technology devices, and admission tickets to local events. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
Your Organization would be recognized as a donor on a sponsor board at the event and in other local chapter newsletters.
